About the position

The Design Director of Creative Design at Estée Lauder will lead the creative design and execution for skincare, developing comprehensive 360 campaigns across various platforms to align with brand strategy and product positioning. This role involves collaboration with senior creatives and marketing teams to create innovative and compelling storytelling through print and digital media.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Executive Director to develop innovative 360 concepts across print and digital.
• Concept, art direct, and execute creative storytelling across various platforms including hero ads, films, and events.
• Partner with Executive Director to understand marketing campaign needs.
• Support design execution, including retouching and production, ensuring excellence and consistency.
• Present and collaborate with Executive Director and senior creatives.
• Work with agencies on design concepting and execution.
• Coordinate with Shoot Production team to capture all necessary assets during shoots.
• Maintain brand strategy and consistency for the Estee Lauder brand.

Requirements

• 8+ years of professional experience in a creative environment.
• College degree in Creative Arts, Art Direction, Design, or related field.
• Drive for innovation and disruption with a cosmetic and luxury mindset.
• Global mindset and awareness of emerging technologies.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong presentation skills.
• Ability to organize and set priorities effectively.
• Knowledge of current fashion, beauty, and lifestyle trends, with previous beauty industry experience being a plus.
• Substantial knowledge of print production including retouching, pre-press, and proofing.
• Proficiency in InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator; basic After Effects/Animation skills are a plus.
• Ability to handle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Self-starter with the ability to work with minimal supervision.
