About the position

The Design Director of Creative Design at Estée Lauder will lead the creative design process for skincare products, driving the development of comprehensive 360 campaigns across various platforms. This role focuses on innovative storytelling and execution that aligns with brand strategy and product positioning, ensuring consistency and excellence in all creative outputs.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Executive Director to develop innovative 360 concepts across print and digital.
• Concept, art direct, and execute compelling creative storytelling across multiple platforms.
• Support the concepting and execution of designs, ensuring excellence and consistency.
• Present and collaborate with Executive Director and senior creatives.
• Partner with agencies for design concepting and execution.
• Work with the Shoot Production team to ensure all necessary assets are captured during shoots.
• Maintain brand strategy, identity, and consistency for the Estee Lauder brand.

Requirements

• 8+ years of professional experience in a creative environment.
• College degree in Creative Arts, Art Direction, Design, or related field.
• Strong drive for innovation and disruption with a cosmetic and luxury mindset.
• Global mindset and awareness of emerging technologies.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong presentation skills.
• Ability to interface with Marketing, Merchandising, Packaging, and Store Design departments.
• Substantial knowledge of print production including retouching, pre-press, and proofing.
• Proficiency in InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator; basic After Effects/Animation skills are a plus.
• Ability to handle numerous projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Self-starter with the ability to work with minimum supervision.
