As the Director of Global Demand Planning at Krispy Kreme, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring that the right doughnut is available at the right place and at the right time across the globe. This position requires a deep understanding of forecasting and business analytics, as you will leverage data to test hypotheses and develop strategic actions aimed at optimizing returns while maximizing sales and profit across all channels and partners. Your leadership will have a global impact, influencing the success and growth of Krispy Kreme's operations in various countries. In this role, you will be responsible for developing market-specific strategies that enhance sales and profit conversion through effective demand planning. You will adopt a test-and-learn approach to initiatives, formulating hypotheses and validating them through data analytics before scaling successful strategies. Collaboration with local markets will be essential, as you will implement these strategies through consultation, training, and review processes. You will maintain a central demand planning database for all markets, ensuring data accuracy for hypothesis testing. A robust analytical approach will be crucial for the test-and-learn initiatives, and you will lead the development of PowerBI reporting and analytics tools for the segmentation and profiling of doors. Your ability to identify opportunities through data analysis will be key to driving sales, profit, and optimizing returns. Presenting actionable insights to key stakeholders and recommending next steps will be a regular part of your responsibilities. Collaboration with Local Market Demand Planning Teams will be necessary to ensure accurate demand forecasts, and you will coordinate with stakeholders to incorporate local insights into market influences, gaining wider business agreement on forecasts. For new markets, establishing proper processes and approaches with stakeholders will be vital to ensure that opening forecasts align with sales and budget expectations. You will also create a demand planning playbook that new markets can utilize to optimize availability and returns, and make recommendations on hiring and training demand planners to set an organizational framework for proper demand planning resource allocation. Reporting will be a significant aspect of your role, as you will generate and share detailed monthly reports on Demand Planning KPIs for each market, along with a global demand planning dashboard showing progress against targets. You will fulfill data requests from key stakeholders and develop training materials for stakeholders at all levels of the business, providing coaching and support for executing demand planning strategies. Additionally, you will serve as a point of contact for software platform training, identifying opportunities for software platform improvements and collaborating with third-party providers to integrate demand planning data and solutions. Your role will also involve attending meetings with key stakeholders to provide updates and receive feedback on demand planning's impact on business plans, working cross-functionally to gain buy-in for initiatives and new ways of thinking.
