About the position

The Director of Global Downstream Marketing at Boston Scientific leads the downstream marketing team for Cardiac Diagnostics Solutions. This critical business leadership role is responsible for creating and executing the downstream commercial strategy, overseeing product launches, and ensuring ongoing marketing efforts. The position requires collaboration with cross-functional partners and aims to foster a diverse and inclusive team environment while achieving key business objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Lead all aspects of Global Downstream Marketing while collaborating with cross-functional partners.
  • Attract, develop, and lead direct reports, setting an inspirational mission and goals for the marketing team.
  • Foster diverse and inclusive teams that embody the company's core values.
  • Coach and mentor organizational talent, creating opportunities for skill advancement and recognition.
  • Oversee global marketing execution to ensure critical business objectives are met.
  • Make and execute operational decisions with a strategic perspective.
  • Coordinate strategies and communication across global regions and marketing stakeholders.
  • Influence and leverage internal and external relationships toward stated goals.
  • Communicate business needs clearly and negotiate necessary resources with management.
  • Foster industry relationships with key stakeholders to further division goals.
  • Ensure a learning mindset among team members and promote continuous improvement.
  • Drive change by establishing priorities and developing plans for improvement.
  • Create dashboards to track and report marketing performance, utilizing performance data for optimization.

Requirements

  • Minimum of a bachelor's degree.
  • Minimum of 12 years of professional experience.
  • Minimum of 8 years' experience in complex commercial marketing, program management, or team leadership in med technology, pharma, or biotech.
  • Strong business acumen and ability to influence across multiple levels.
  • Fact-based decision making and ability to quickly ramp up on new technologies.

Nice-to-haves

  • Cardiac Diagnostics experience.
  • Advanced education such as Master of Business Administration.
  • Global marketing and product launch experience.
  • Understanding of all disciplines of marketing and commercial/sales process.
  • Medical device field sales experience.
  • Pricing and contracting experience in the US Market.
