About the position

As the Director of Global Information Security and Cybersecurity, you will be at the forefront of safeguarding our company's critical information technology (IT) and operational technology (OT) infrastructure. Your primary responsibility will be to develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive cybersecurity programs that protect our systems, networks, and data from a variety of cyber threats and security risks. This role requires a strategic mindset as you will lead initiatives aimed at enhancing the overall cybersecurity posture of the organization. You will work both independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including IT, operations, and compliance, to ensure that our data and systems maintain confidentiality, integrity, and availability while adhering to relevant laws, regulations, and industry best practices. In this position, you will be responsible for translating complex regulatory requirements into practical security controls, ensuring compliance with standards such as GDPR, HIPAA, PCI DSS, ISO 27001, SOC, and the NIST Cybersecurity Framework. Your strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, practices, technologies, and frameworks will be essential as you manage security technologies including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, SIEM systems, and antivirus solutions. You will also be tasked with assessing and mitigating security risks and incidents, utilizing your analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills to effectively address challenges as they arise. Communication will be key in this role, as you will need to convey complex security concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences. Your leadership skills will be crucial in mentoring a team of IT professionals and collaborating effectively with senior management and other departments. Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement comprehensive cybersecurity programs to protect IT and OT infrastructure.
  • Lead initiatives to enhance the overall cybersecurity posture of the organization.

  • Translate regulatory requirements into practical security controls.
  • Manage security technologies such as firewalls, SIEM systems, and antivirus solutions.
  • Assess and mitigate security risks and incidents effectively.

  • Mentor and lead a team of IT professionals.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in information security and cybersecurity management.
  • Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, practices, technologies, and frameworks.
  • Familiarity with laws, regulations, and industry standards such as GDPR, HIPAA, PCI DSS, ISO 27001, SOC, and NIST Cybersecurity Framework.
  • Experience managing security technologies such as firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and SIEM systems.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong leadership skills to manage multiple priorities and projects.

Nice-to-haves

  • Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CRISC.

Benefits

  • Salary range of $170-180K plus 20% annual bonus.
