The Director, Pricing Analytics and Data Sources, will play a pivotal role in supporting the company's pricing decisions and new product/business development planning through the analysis and management of external pricing data sources. This position is accountable for maintaining a Center of Expertise for external pricing subscription databases, ensuring that internal stakeholders understand the available resources, their use cases, best practices, and the limitations of the purchased data. The Director will support both US and Global market pricing decisions by leveraging internal and external pricing data sources, and will collaborate closely with various teams including Global Market Access Therapeutic Access and Pricing, Human Health US, and Human Health Global teams to develop access strategies utilizing these data sources. In this role, the Director will serve as the Center of Expertise for external pricing subscription databases, focusing on maximizing the value derived from purchased external pricing data. The position will also provide analytic support to the US market to evaluate the impact of policy decisions, working in conjunction with the Human Health Digital, Data & Analytics (HHDDA) team to support Global Market Access decisions. The Director will lead the strategic evaluation of current and future external pricing data sources and share knowledge regarding these data sources to ensure a comprehensive understanding of their use cases and best practices across the organization. Additionally, the Director will partner with various teams, including Global Market Access Therapeutic Access and Pricing, Pricing Systems, and Business Development, to effectively utilize external pricing data. Building and managing relationships with external pricing data vendors and procurement will be essential, as will exhibiting ownership and accountability for all projects and internal assignments. The Director will also act as the point of contact with the National Council for Prescription Drug Programs (NCPDP), ensuring that relevant teams are informed about industry changes.
