It is an exciting time to join our company's Global Hematology team, as we build an industry-leading business and aspire to impact Myeloproliferative disease on a global scale. We have made significant progress advancing our hematology pipeline with seven registrational studies across our hematology assets, with Essential Thrombocythemia being our first expected launch in MPNs. The Director of Global Marketing for a first-in-class treatment will be responsible for supporting commercial elements related to launch. This is a business-critical role that will be instrumental in helping our Company build a leadership position in Essential Thrombocythemia and contributing to establishing Myeloproliferative Neoplasms (MPNs) as a key growth driver for our Company. This role reports to the Global Oncology Marketing Lead Exec. Director and will collaborate broadly with cross-functional partners to support enterprise-wide commercialization preparedness. Essential Thrombocythemia is a rare, indolent disease impacting patients and their loved ones. Despite the availability of off-label, genericized chemotherapy, unmet need persists where disease awareness is needed to raise the patient voice. Our Company's ability to make a meaningful impact on this disease for patients and their loved ones will be influenced by the leadership of this role. The Director will play an important role in supporting the commercial transformation and leadership of our launches, including new ways of working, embedding advanced analytics, evolving the commercial models, and building value for patients, payers, and healthcare professionals. Specific Responsibilities Include: Map the patient journey in collaboration with HHDDA and key markets to identify roadblocks that delay diagnosis and optimal treatment according to guidelines; and activate new innovative solutions to accelerate the journey. Drive the deployment of potential strategic initiatives to optimize the patients' diagnosis journey, by addressing roadblocks at scale with AI, data/analytics, and innovative partnerships. This is inclusive of defining the operational details of strategic initiatives, ensuring appropriate execution in coordination with cross-functional Global, Regional, and Local stakeholders and allocating appropriate resourcing. Develop strategies and initiatives to drive earlier optimal treatment with our assets - when appropriate and according to approved indications - and enable rapid identification of patients that are not treated according to guidelines. This is inclusive of supporting the development of the initial strategy, creating analytical approaches (including AI tools and techniques) to identify patients in coordination with HHDDA and coordinating with Regional and Local stakeholders to ensure execution. Set up a governance model that centralizes multiple innovative activities and identifies opportunities to scale up and drive impact in collaboration with HHI and Key Markets. Create a consistent and rigorous KPI framework that can track the acceleration across all launch markets. As a member of the global marketing team and cross-functional leadership team, partner with Global Oncology to invest in each other's development, build a culture of inclusivity, speak-up and stretch our collective team's thinking by challenging the status quo for the purpose of creating stronger outcomes.
