About the position

As the Director of Global Sales Program Success at Workday, you will play a crucial role in leading and managing our Program Leads within the Global Sales Enablement function. This position offers a unique opportunity to drive the design, deployment, and evaluation of global sales enablement programs, ensuring their effectiveness across diverse audiences. You will be responsible for overseeing key programs such as onboarding, everboarding, partner enablement, and leadership development, while also managing a Logistics team to ensure flawless execution of all global programs. Your leadership will be pivotal in driving programs from initial planning and solution definition through to design, deployment, measurement, and analytics. You will hold teams accountable for delivering program outcomes and meeting performance metrics, capturing and analyzing data to align resources effectively. Reporting on program performance and prioritizing projects based on data insights will be essential to your role. Collaboration across departments will be necessary to ensure that programs meet the needs of various stakeholders, and you will need to influence and drive alignment across teams to support program goals. A customer-centric focus is vital, ensuring that all programs meet the needs of our sales teams and partners. Your ability to apply critical thinking and adaptability will be key to consistently improving program effectiveness.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage Global Program Managers responsible for key programs such as onboarding, everboarding, partner enablement, and leadership development.
  • Oversee a Logistics team ensuring flawless execution of all global programs.
  • Drive programs from initial planning and solution definition through to design, deployment, measurement, and analytics.
  • Hold teams accountable for delivering program outcomes and meeting performance metrics.
  • Capture and analyze data to align resources effectively.
  • Report on program performance and prioritize projects within the global programs team based on data insights.
  • Collaborate across departments to ensure programs meet the needs of a variety of individuals involved.
  • Influence and drive alignment across various teams to support program goals.
  • Maintain a customer-centric focus, ensuring all programs meet the needs of our sales teams and partners.
  • Apply critical thinking and adaptability to consistently improve program effectiveness.

Requirements

  • 5+ years in managing global programs within a sales enablement or similar function.
  • 8+ years of experience in planning, organizing, and implementing global enablement initiatives in software, SaaS or consulting industries.
  • Demonstrated success in leading and managing teams.
  • Exceptional communication and cross-functional teamwork capabilities.
  • Strong ability to influence others and drive performance.
  • Meticulous with a strong emphasis on being proactive and taking responsibility.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving proficiency.
