About the position

The Director, Global Small Business Loyalty at Visa is responsible for shaping and managing the Small Business Loyalty offerings, particularly Visa SavingsEdge. This role focuses on developing strategies, roadmaps, and managing product evolution to enhance loyalty programs. The director will collaborate with regional teams to identify market needs and manage vendor partnerships to ensure timely and budget-compliant deliverables. The position requires a blend of program management, business development, and operational expertise to drive cardholder engagement and support Visa's growth in the small business sector.

Responsibilities

  • Support and expand Visa Small Business Loyalty solutions and strategies.
  • Manage loyalty vendor partnerships and evaluate external offerings.
  • Collaborate with regional leads and account executives to align on market objectives.
  • Communicate complex technical requirements to diverse audiences.
  • Pitch partnership opportunities to merchants and clients.
  • Utilize stakeholder feedback to optimize programs and enhance products.
  • Manage business offers, including procurement and contract negotiations.
  • Maintain platform and security updates for compliance.
  • Develop a keen understanding of Visa solutions and product offerings.
  • Partner with internal teams to identify integration opportunities.
  • Develop and present business cases to drive interest in Visa SavingsEdge.
  • Work with Product Marketing to create educational materials.
  • Educate key stakeholders to drive adoption of Visa SavingsEdge.
  • Write and maintain process documents and technical requirements.
  • Establish key performance metrics to measure platform success.
  • Analyze program metrics and create dashboards for stakeholders.
  • Manage monthly financial processes for program management.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of work experience with a Bachelor's Degree or 8+ years with an Advanced Degree or 3+ years with a PhD.
  • 12+ years of work experience with a Bachelor's Degree or 8-10 years with an Advanced Degree or 6+ years with a PhD preferred.
  • Extensive experience in product management, preferably in payments, Small Business, and Loyalty.
  • Exceptional product management leadership with a record of developing and growing products.
  • Knowledge of Small Business and Commercial payment trends and loyalty solutions.
  • Ability to decipher technical requirements and ensure compliance with security mandates.
  • Familiarity with loyalty providers and loyalty program mechanics.
  • Ability to manage complex deliverables and collaborate across teams.
  • Knowledge of web applications and APIs.
  • Ability to influence and negotiate with internal and external partners.
  • Demonstrated ability to build relationships and motivate teams.
  • Proactive self-starter comfortable with ambiguity.
