About the position

The Global Toys Licensing Director at Paramount Global is responsible for leading the company's Global Toys business and managing licensed partnerships across various iconic entertainment properties. This role focuses on strategic development, product launches, and revenue growth while collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve overall business goals.

Responsibilities

• Work with the Vice President of Global Toys to formulate category strategies to meet long-term brand plans and financial goals.
• Identify, develop, and complete new business initiatives in assigned categories.
• Analyze, pitch, and negotiate new business deals and seek opportunities for growth across new product categories and retailers.
• Drive quarterly forecasts and business reviews with licensees.
• Monitor sales results to ensure revenues meet budgetary goals.
• Provide support, information, and materials for licensees to improve product development and retail expansion.
• Collaborate with various teams to drive category business strategies across all Paramount Global franchises.
• Track performance and address issues with Retail Development teams to support major retail initiatives.
• Manage team on assigned categories, providing strategic direction and career development.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 10+ years working within the toy industry and an entertainment licensing role, preferably managing a global business.
• Line management experience.
• Demonstrated ability to think strategically with a clear vision.
• Robust understanding of Paramount Global's brand position and retail environment.
• Established relationships with toy manufacturers across various categories.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong time management and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
• Strong knowledge of the e-commerce landscape preferred.
