About the position

The Director of Growth Marketing - Provider at UChicago Medicine is responsible for driving patient growth across various service lines by enhancing patient acquisition and retention. This role involves crafting and executing impactful marketing strategies that engage healthcare providers nationally, leveraging diverse marketing channels to shape public perception and establish industry leadership. The Director will oversee the development and implementation of marketing programs focused on referrals and proactive outreach, working closely with service line leaders to drive volume and generate referrals.

Responsibilities

  • Understand and map customer and referrer motivations and behaviors to inform content delivery and healthcare solutions.
  • Develop a multi-year growth roadmap aligned with service line and fiscal year goals.
  • Craft and implement outbound marketing strategies using Marketing Cloud sales enablement tools.
  • Enhance patient acquisition and retention by developing personalized communication strategies.
  • Design and lead engagement programs aligned with growth objectives, utilizing events, sponsorships, thought leadership, and direct marketing.
  • Develop and refine marketing content to drive engagement and conversions.
  • Assess strategic growth opportunities based on internal and external insights.
  • Collaborate with institutional leaders to create business cases and implementation timelines.
  • Track and report campaign success using OKRs and analytics.
  • Compile service line factbooks and develop dashboards to track performance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field (advanced degree preferred).
  • Minimum of 8 years in progressive growth marketing roles within healthcare or related industries.
  • Proven track record of leading complex marketing programs and strategic initiatives.
  • Expertise in developing and executing comprehensive marketing strategies and deploying integrated campaigns across diverse channels.
  • Deep understanding of consumer and provider behaviors.
