About the position

The Director, GTM Operations - Corporates at Thomson Reuters is responsible for managing daily operations to achieve goals for Segment Sales and Client Management teams. This role involves partnering with sales and business leadership to drive sales initiatives, lead forecasting processes, enhance CRM usage, and improve sales organization efficiency. The Director will also oversee strategy execution for annual planning and develop technology plans to support retention and growth through various initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Manage daily operations for Segment Sales and Client Management teams across the Corporates Segment.
  • Partner with sales and business leadership to initiate and drive sales initiatives.
  • Lead the segment forecasting process and ensure efficacy in forecasting.
  • Foster CRM adoption and usage within the sales organization.
  • Identify opportunities to remove administrative burdens and improve efficiency.
  • Own strategy and execution of annual planning for the sales segment.
  • Develop technology plans for field tools to support retention and growth.
  • Direct a high-performing global team and build a collaborative environment.
  • Initiate and drive major projects involving data collection and analysis.
  • Lead President level forecast calls to drive accountability and focus.
  • Partner cross-functionally to define and implement optimal GTM structure.
  • Create and implement strategies for sales process improvement and effectiveness.
  • Assess current operating processes relative to market dynamics.
  • Document and communicate rules of engagement and sales policies.
  • Serve as a primary resource for pre-sales inquiries and focus on key priorities.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in operations, sales, revenue operations, strategy, or marketing.
  • Four-year college degree required.
  • Business operations experience in project management and GTM structuring.
  • Prior people management experience leading high-performing teams.
  • Sales pipeline management and forecasting process experience.
  • Experience using business analytics to identify solutions.
  • Knowledge of sales and client management workflow procedures.
  • Prior exposure to sales and client management environments.
  • Proven ability to build relationships cross-functionally and influence at all levels.
  • Strong thought leadership and influential communication skills.
  • Effective project management capability in a customer-centric organization.
  • Ability to travel as required, estimated 20%.
