About the position

LogicMonitor is seeking a talented and experienced Director of GTM Strategy and Business Operations to drive the performance of our Sales, Marketing, and Customer Experience (CX) organization. This role is pivotal in laying the foundation for continued scalable growth and will be responsible for the Go-To-Market (GTM) strategic direction, project oversight, process improvement, team leadership, and tactical execution of Business Operations. The successful candidate will serve as a primary partner to Sales, Marketing, and CX leadership, ensuring alignment and execution of the company's vision and value. In this role, you will manage and lead the GTM analytical team, overseeing the entire GTM strategy and operations from design and planning to insight generation and reporting. You will lead the annual operating planning process across all GTM functions, owning the full-year operating plan to execute on the company's strategic objectives. Defining end-to-end metrics and definitions to run the business will be a key responsibility, as will collaborating with Business Intelligence, IT, and Sales Finance to build and support reporting and dashboards. You will also be tasked with building and standardizing business reporting for strategic analysis and internal business reviews. Analyzing operational metrics to deliver meaningful insights to the business, you will define and implement methods to improve performance. Additionally, you will drive key projects that support strategic initiatives by working across functions and providing visibility to executive sponsors. Preparing for quarterly board meetings and monthly Executive Leadership Team (ELT) reviews will be part of your responsibilities, ensuring that the company remains focused and aligned with its strategic initiatives. Lastly, you will lead problem-solving projects to analyze data, generate insights, and propose recommendations that capture growth opportunities and enhance overall company operating efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and lead the GTM analytical team to drive company GTM strategy and operations from design, planning, insight generations, to reporting and analytics.
  • Lead the annual operating planning process across all GTM functions and own the full year operating plan to execute on company vision and value.
  • Define the end-to-end metrics and definitions to run the business.
  • Work with BI, IT & Sales Finance to build & support reporting and dashboards.
  • Build and standardize business reporting for strategic analysis and internal business reviews.
  • Analyze operational metrics and deliver meaningful insights to the business, define and deliver methods to improve performance.
  • Drive key projects to support strategic initiatives by working across functions and provide visibility to executive sponsors.
  • Own quarterly board meeting preparations and monthly ELT review content to drive focus and steer the company operating cadence per plan and strategic initiatives.
  • Lead problem solving projects to analyze data, generate insights and propose recommendations to capture growth opportunities and improve overall company operating efficiency.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Management or equivalent degree.
  • 10+ years' experience in Business/Sales Operations or equivalent experience.
  • 3+ years' leadership experience.
  • Proven experience with GTM strategy & planning & data analytics.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze the business, derive insights/recommendations and execute on key initiatives.
  • Strong project management skills with attention to detail and ability to work cross-functionally.
  • Proficiency with Sales/GTM tools, including Salesforce.
  • Executive leadership and communication skills.
