About the position

As the Director of Health Equity Management Operations at Centene, you will play a pivotal role in transforming the health of our communities, impacting the lives of our 28 million members. This position is designed for a leader who can design, evaluate, modify, and oversee specific Health Equity Management Operations within Managed Healthcare Services. You will be responsible for overseeing health equity operations, which includes the development of key performance metrics, policies, procedures, workflows, training, and auditing processes. Your expertise will be crucial in evaluating existing health equity practices and identifying best practices that can be implemented across the organization. In this role, you will collaborate with various departments to establish standardized “play books” that ensure the effectiveness and efficiency of health equity initiatives. You will also ensure that new health equity programs are seamlessly integrated with existing products, focusing on policies, procedures, workflows, reporting, and auditing. A significant part of your responsibilities will involve exploring new approaches to work processes by utilizing continuous process improvement techniques to eliminate waste and ensure that resources are allocated to high-value activities. Additionally, you will lead cross-functional work teams to analyze data, enabling informed decisions regarding the design and implementation of existing and new health equity programs. Your leadership will be essential in fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation within the organization, ultimately driving better health outcomes for our members.

Responsibilities

  • Design, evaluate, modify, and oversee specific Health Equity Management Operations within Managed Healthcare Services.

Requirements

  • Master's Degree required.
  • 7+ years of relevant experience required.
  • 3+ years of management experience required.
  • Master of Public Health or related field.
