About the position

The Director, HR Business Partner, plays a crucial role in leading the HR strategy and operations for one of Ford's business units. This position is responsible for aligning business and HR strategies, managing a high-performing HR Business Partner team, and driving scalable HR programs that support the organization's objectives. The role requires collaboration across various HR functions to ensure effective delivery of HR services that enhance employee engagement and organizational effectiveness.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, implementation, and execution of HR strategy and program delivery for the business unit.
• Drive a culture of excellence within the HR Business Partner team and prepare leaders for organizational change.
• Collaborate with HR and business leaders to enhance employee engagement and satisfaction.
• Translate company-wide objectives into tailored approaches for the business unit.
• Create and implement change management strategies and new organizational structures.
• Partner with operations to develop strategic workforce plans that align with business needs.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, or related discipline.
• 8+ years of work experience with a Master's degree or 10+ years with a Bachelor's degree in Human Relations or related field.
• Demonstrated people leadership experience managing HR team members.

Nice-to-haves

• Prior experience in the automotive or manufacturing industry.
