We are currently seeking an experienced and motivated Associate Director or Director HR Business Partner to join our rapidly growing team in South San Francisco. This role is pivotal within the Alumis People and Culture (P&C) team, reporting directly to the Senior Vice President of People & Culture. The HR Business Partner will work closely with leaders across the organization to ensure healthy and productive departmental performance, address emerging organizational issues, and foster a vibrant, supportive, and resilient culture aligned with our core values. In this strategic role, the HRBP will serve as a trusted partner to leaders at all levels, including functional leaders, department heads, and executives. The successful candidate will collaborate with Talent Acquisition and HR Operations to support staffing, employee training and development, and continuous performance management. Leveraging both business and HR acumen, the HRBP will promote and develop people strategies that drive business performance. This includes proactively identifying opportunities and solutions to emerging needs within the organization and fostering a positive and inclusive workplace climate. The HRBP will also design and deliver scalable HR programs and initiatives in areas such as performance management, recognition, career development, organizational design, succession planning, talent development, and employee engagement, in partnership with key internal stakeholders. Additionally, the HRBP will serve as a trusted advisor for Alumis employees and people managers, ensuring their perspectives are heard and considered. Leading the year-round performance management process, the HRBP will facilitate mid-year and end-of-year talent review and development discussions, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and employee growth.
