About the position

The Director HR Business Partner at Molex will work closely with senior business leaders in the Datacom Specialty Solutions Division, focusing on enhancing workforce performance through strategic HR initiatives. This role involves building strong relationships with managers and employees, providing guidance on HR policies, and acting as a consultant on various HR issues. The HRBP will also analyze trends and metrics to develop effective solutions and ensure compliance with legal requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Consults with line management, focusing on developing manager/supervisor capabilities.
  • Leads Talent Management and Talent Development initiatives to drive growth.
  • Acts as a Market Based Management ambassador.
  • Analyzes trends and metrics in partnership with the HR group to develop solutions, programs and policies.
  • Manages and resolves complex employee relations issues, conducting effective investigations.
  • Maintains in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance.
  • Partners with the legal department as needed/required.
  • Provides day-to-day performance management guidance to line management (e.g., coaching, counseling, career development, disciplinary actions).
  • Works closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention.
  • Provides HR policy guidance and interpretation.
  • Works as a change agent, fostering inclusion.
