About the position

The Director, HR Commercial Functions will provide strategic HR leadership and manage global human resources activities for Sales, TCS, Marketing, and Business Management functions. This role involves partnering with senior leaders to align business needs with human capital strategy, driving organizational design, and executing critical HR processes for talent management and succession planning.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with senior leaders to develop organizational strategies including change management.
  • Ensure internal client groups have the resource capability to achieve Grace's goals.
  • Provide leadership and counsel to leaders on talent and organizational change.
  • Lead client leadership teams to ensure understanding and execution of strategic HR plans.
  • Execute day-to-day HR processes including Talent Acquisition and Performance Reviews.
  • Develop an HR plan aligned with Grace's objectives for organizational design and talent management.
  • Collaborate across the organization to ensure commitment to the mission and successful execution of talent initiatives.
  • Lead culture change and organizational effectiveness initiatives.
  • Engage in long-range scenario planning considering talent risks.
  • Evaluate existing talent and organizational structures to maximize efficiency.
  • Coordinate with other HR groups to implement policies and practices.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business or related field.
  • Minimum of 15 years' experience as an HR Business Partner leader.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and execute strategic initiatives.
  • Experience in organizational design, transformation, and change management.
  • Strong professional maturity and judgment in confidential situations.
  • Ability to generate alternative solutions from diverse opinions.
  • Strong customer and results orientation.
  • Progressive HR experience with strong project management skills.
  • Global experience and awareness.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to influence senior leaders and drive business results.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work across diverse teams.

Nice-to-haves

  • Familiarity with relevant talent management/human resources software.
