As part of our Commercial People Team, you will play a crucial role in discovering, developing, and continuously improving our organizational talent, particularly within the Sales and Marketing group of the West Region, based in Van Nuys, CA. Your primary responsibility will be to manage our people processes, which include competency appraisal, target setting and cascading, and organization and people review. You will also be tasked with recommending and implementing new people programs that address the specific needs of your client group. To succeed in this role, you must have a deep understanding of our business challenges and the needs of Anheuser-Busch employees. This understanding will be gained through maintaining an excellent pulse on ideas, thought leadership, and innovative approaches to People management. Your local people plan will be grounded in the data readily available to you as a People Business Partner at Anheuser-Busch. By leveraging both internal and external knowledge, you will create strong talent solutions that support the growth and development of our employees in a manner that reflects our company culture. In this role, you will align with our company culture and authentically connect with people. You will be responsible for translating our culture into local people solutions that resonate with employees and positively impact the business. This may involve deciphering local Engagement Survey results and creating action plans at multiple levels, helping leaders prioritize employees for promotion or merit increases, and suggesting structural changes based on business needs. You will demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills, allowing you to interface comfortably at all levels of the organization. Additionally, you will develop local actions to promote and drive established guidelines related to talent management, People Package budgeting, and rewards philosophies. Your ability to coach, mentor, and manage performance will be essential in fostering improvement and high potential development among employees. You will need to stay updated on trends and technology that can be leveraged to support effective and engaging development. Operating with a high degree of autonomy, you will need to be flexible and adapt easily to changing priorities and multiple tasks. A strong work ethic, prioritization, and organizational skills are crucial for success in this role. As a strategic thinker, you will propose and implement ideas and solutions while also executing necessary tactical work, such as master data reviews, regular budget reviews, and routine communications around important date reminders.
