About the position

The Director, HR Compliance and Workplace Investigations at Everest Global Services, Inc. is a pivotal role responsible for overseeing compliance with employment laws and managing workplace investigations. This position will lead the establishment of a new HR Compliance function, ensuring adherence to legal standards and best practices across the organization. The director will also serve as a senior advisor on employee relations issues, conduct investigations, and collaborate with various HR teams globally to promote a culture of compliance and risk mitigation.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with HR Centers of Excellence and Legal teams to ensure compliance with employment and data privacy laws.
  • Develop, implement, and uphold new policies and standards in collaboration with stakeholders.
  • Standardize HR procedures across all HR Centers of Excellence, ensuring fairness and consistency.
  • Conduct employee training on anti-discrimination, harassment, and company policies.
  • Ensure consistent data management and documentation standards are met across HR functions.
  • Lead investigations on complex employee matters, ensuring thorough and fair processes.
  • Collaborate with HR colleagues to review practices for compliance with laws and regulations.
  • Work with other departments to ensure cross-functional compliance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required; J.D. is a plus.
  • 10-15 years of experience in HR Compliance and employee relations, preferably in a professional services organization or law firm.
  • Proven experience in HR compliance, policy development, and employee investigations.
