About the position

The Director, HR Compliance and Workplace Investigations at Everest Group, Ltd. is a pivotal role responsible for overseeing compliance with employment laws and managing workplace investigations. This position involves developing policies, conducting employee training, and ensuring adherence to legal standards across the organization. The director will lead investigations into complex employee relations issues and collaborate with various HR teams globally to uphold best practices in HR compliance.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with HR Centers of Excellence and Legal teams to ensure compliance with employment and data privacy laws.
  • Develop, implement, and uphold new policies and standards in collaboration with stakeholders.
  • Monitor employee compliance with key policies and follow up as needed.
  • Standardize HR procedures across all HR Centers of Excellence.
  • Create response plans for potential incidents such as legal disputes or data breaches.
  • Conduct training sessions for employees and management on company policies and best practices.
  • Ensure consistent standards for data management and privacy are met across HR functions.
  • Serve as Lead Investigator on complex employee matters and ensure sound investigation processes are followed.
  • Collaborate with HR colleagues to review procedures and identify compliance risks.
  • Work with other departments to ensure cross-functional compliance with regulations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required; J.D. is a plus.
  • 10-15 years of experience in HR compliance and employee relations, preferably in a professional services organization or law firm.
  • Proven experience in HR compliance and employee relations responsibilities.
