About the position

As a Director HR - Corporate Strategy at Honeywell, you will be responsible for leading and overseeing all aspects of HR management within the Enterprise Strategy functions. This includes critical areas such as Portfolio and Offering Management, Brand Strategy and External Communications, Corporate Strategy, and Partnerships and Alliances. Your primary focus will be to develop and implement HR strategies that align with the overall corporate strategy growth remit, ultimately driving business success. This role is pivotal in business transformation initiatives, strategic talent planning and acquisition, employee engagement, and enabling effective performance and incentive management, as well as employee development. In this capacity, you will collaborate closely with business leaders to gain a deep understanding of their strategic objectives and provide tailored HR solutions that support these goals. Your leadership will ensure that the organization has the right people in the right roles, which is essential for driving business success. You will also play a critical role in developing and supporting employees, helping them to perform at their best and facilitating change across the company. You will report directly to the VP of Human Resources for Strategy & Communications and will work out of our Charlotte, North Carolina location on a hybrid work schedule following your first 90 days in the position. This role is designed for a proactive leader who is ready to make a significant impact on the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Lead enterprise-wide business transformation for achieving growth imperatives
  • Provide indirect leadership and partnership to a group of HR leaders from within the Honeywell SBGs, regularly collaborating on critical business and HR priorities
  • Oversee talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, compensation and benefits, and employee development
  • Develop and implement HR policies, processes, and programs that align with business objectives and drive employee engagement
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive HR initiatives and projects
  • Provide insights and recommendations on HR best practices and industry trends

Requirements

  • Minimum of 8+ years of experience in HR management or a related role
  • Proven track record of successfully leading and managing HR teams
  • Strong knowledge of HR policies, procedures, and best practices
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to build and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders at all levels of the organization
  • Experience in talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, and employee development
  • Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite
