About the position

The HR Portfolio and Communications Director will oversee the HR Portfolio of annual HR programs and support communications, reporting directly to the Executive Director of HR Operations. This role is pivotal in aligning HR strategy with program delivery, ensuring effective stakeholder engagement and adoption of HR initiatives. The director will collaborate with various HR teams to develop a comprehensive HR Portfolio and Communications roadmap, driving excellence in HR program execution and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the HR Portfolio and HR Communications liaison for HR Leadership, HR Core, Program Design Committee, and key business stakeholders.
  • Develop and maintain integrated HR Portfolio and priorities roadmap.
  • Refresh the Portfolio Management processes, proper cadence, and channels to drive the Program Design Committee.
  • Design and support scalable infrastructure to enable best-in-class end-to-end project delivery across the HR function.
  • Communicate project status, milestone progress/achievement, and risks and issues to HR leadership.
  • Partner with key Program Owners and Subject Matter Experts within HR's COEs to ensure timely information delivery.
  • Drive and maintain consistency across HR Portfolio in terms of execution, status tracking, change management and communication activities.
  • Measure and track program effectiveness through qualitative and quantitative methods.
  • Develop a keen understanding of various HR and cross-functional audiences and their needs.

Requirements

  • BA/BS degree or equivalent is required.
  • 8+ years of relevant experience in project management.
  • HR functional knowledge required.
  • Ability and affinity for working in a matrix environment with cross-collaboration and multiple lines of accountability.
  • Ability to influence others.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with strong attention to detail.
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills across teams, cultures and geographies.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

  • Change management and program communications experience preferred.
