About the position

The HR Portfolio and Communications Director at Moderna will oversee the organization and management of the HR Portfolio, focusing on annual HR programs and communications. This role is pivotal in aligning HR strategy with business priorities, ensuring effective delivery and adoption of HR initiatives across the organization. The director will collaborate with various HR teams and stakeholders to develop best practices and maintain a comprehensive HR Portfolio roadmap, ultimately driving the success of HR programs and enhancing stakeholder engagement.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the HR Portfolio and HR Communications liaison for HR Leadership, HR Core, Program Design Committee, and key business stakeholders.
  • Develop and maintain integrated HR Portfolio and priorities roadmap.
  • Refresh the Portfolio Management processes, proper cadence, and channels to drive the Program Design Committee.
  • Design and support scalable infrastructure to enable best-in-class end-to-end project delivery across the HR function.
  • Communicate project status, milestone progress/achievement, and risks and issues to HR leadership.
  • Partner with key Program Owners and Subject Matter Experts within HR's COEs to ensure timely information delivery to HR audiences.
  • Drive and maintain consistency across HR Portfolio in terms of execution, status tracking, change management and communication activities.
  • Measure and track program effectiveness through qualitative and quantitative methods.

Requirements

  • BA/BS degree or equivalent is required.
  • 8+ years of relevant experience in project management.
  • HR functional knowledge required.
  • Change management and program communications experience preferred.
  • Experience working with senior management in a dynamic environment.
  • Ability and affinity for working in a matrix environment with cross-collaboration and multiple lines of accountability.
  • Ability to influence others.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with strong attention to detail.
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills across teams, cultures and geographies.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
