About the position

The Director of Human Resources, Talent Management at McGee Air Services is a strategic leadership role responsible for overseeing talent acquisition, development, and retention strategies. This position aims to foster a high-performance culture by implementing comprehensive talent management initiatives that align with organizational goals. The director will work closely with HR and executive leadership to drive organizational growth through people development and strategic workforce planning, while also championing diversity and inclusion within the company.

Responsibilities

  • Create and execute holistic strategies to attract and recruit top-tier talent that aligns with the organization's needs and culture.
  • Oversee all stages of the recruitment lifecycle, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and selection.
  • Develop innovative sourcing strategies to attract a diverse pool of qualified candidates through various channels.
  • Promote diversity and inclusion throughout all stages of recruitment.
  • Implement and manage technology and AI integrations to streamline the recruitment process.
  • Develop onboarding programs that foster a sense of belonging and align new team members with organizational culture.
  • Create and execute team member development initiatives that support continuous growth and skills enhancement.
  • Lead, supervise, mentor, and develop high-performance teams.
  • Partner with department leaders to identify and address talent needs, ensuring alignment with the company's long-term goals.
  • Analyze HR metrics and data related to recruitment, retention, engagement, and performance management.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in human resources or a related field.
  • 8+ years of talent or related human resources experience in a fast-paced customer-focused environment.
  • At least 3 years in a strategic leadership role.
  • Proven experience developing and implementing talent strategies in a corporate setting.
  • Deep experience designing and managing complex processes and projects.
  • Excellent strategy, organizational, interpersonal, leadership, project, and change management skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Certifications (SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR or SPHR)
  • High Volume Talent Acquisition experience
  • Multi-state, CA HR or Talent experience
  • Employee and Labor relations experience
  • Aviation, Transportation, or related industry experience
