About the position

The Director - HR Technology Operations at Worldpay is responsible for leading the Global People Systems team, focusing on the implementation, maintenance, and upgrades of HR technologies. This role involves analyzing complex user requirements, managing projects, and ensuring efficient operation of HR functions through technology solutions. The position emphasizes a human-centric approach to technology, supporting the needs of Worldpay employees and enhancing their experience within the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze complex user requirements for ERP system configuration and customization.
  • Select, develop, and evaluate personnel for efficient operation of the HR technology function.
  • Implement, maintain, and upgrade HR technologies.
  • Review HR applications and systems changes, ensuring proper documentation is developed.
  • Lead and coordinate activities of Project Managers, Product Managers, and Business Analysts.
  • Evaluate business needs for system customizations and conduct cost/benefit analysis.
  • Ensure successful implementation of HR system changes and monitor for efficiency improvements.
  • Provide direction, training, and guidance for less experienced staff.
  • Coordinate with ERP Business Analysts to define requirements and validate solutions.
  • Design solutions to address identified business needs and manage multiple complex projects.

Requirements

  • Strong management skills and organizational abilities.
  • Experience in Workday ERP system customization using best practices.
  • Proven success in HR system implementations and upgrades.
  • Knowledge of business process flows in an HR environment.
  • Experience in full life cycle development with an emphasis on iterative development.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong customer service and leadership skills.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships.
