About the position

The Director of HR Technology and People Analytics is a key leadership role responsible for overseeing HR Information Systems (HRIS) and People Analytics within the HR Operations organization. This position drives digital transformation, optimizes HR systems, and leverages data-driven insights to support strategic workforce planning and organizational goals. The ideal candidate will lead the HRIS team, establish a new People Analytics function, and collaborate with IT and other departments to ensure seamless integration of people systems and analytics initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the HRIS team managing the Human Capital Management system (Workday).
  • Establish a new People Analytics function to implement a cohesive workforce data strategy.
  • Build a high-performing HRIS and People Analytics team through mentorship and talent development.
  • Collaborate with IT to develop a comprehensive HR technology strategy and roadmap.
  • Partner with IT for long- and short-range planning of HR technology initiatives.
  • Design HR technology and data solutions with HR process owners and IT.
  • Build cross-functional relationships to innovate and sustain HR technology solutions.
  • Manage and enhance HR technology applications to simplify data and processes.
  • Foster collaboration to establish accessible HR data for advanced analytics.
  • Champion innovation in data engineering and visualization technologies.
  • Ensure robust data governance, security, and compliance practices.
  • Lead change management efforts related to HR technology initiatives.
  • Explore cutting-edge HR technology applications and tools.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in HRIS management or HR technology roles.
  • 5+ years of progressive leadership experience in HR technology.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Workday HCM and other modules.
  • Experience with PowerBI or similar data engineering/visualization tools.
  • Proven experience in process optimization and automation.
  • Strong project management skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Advanced degree or certification (e.g., PMP, PHR, SPHR, GPHR, SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP).
  • Hands-on experience with ADP and ServiceNow.
  • Experience working in global organizations with diverse geographic locations.
