As the Director of Human Resources at The AES Corporation, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our workforce and driving the company's commitment to innovation and sustainability. This position is not just about managing HR functions; it is about being a strategic partner to the business leaders and ensuring that our people programs and policies align with the overall goals of the organization. You will implement various people programs that enhance employee engagement and drive positive talent outcomes, utilizing talent tools to inform critical actions. Your expertise will guide the resolution of employee and labor relations issues, ensuring that all employees feel valued and respected within the workplace. In this role, you will advise, coach, and engage with leaders at all levels, using analytics to make data-driven decisions that positively impact talent management. You will collaborate with the Workforce Planning team to develop and execute workforce plans that meet our talent needs, while also partnering with HR Centers of Expertise and HR Operations to deliver effective solutions and programs. A deep understanding of the talent market will be essential as you leverage this knowledge to inform our talent acquisition strategy, promoting inclusivity and implementing actions focused on improving Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion within the organization. You will also identify development needs for the groups you support and promote the completion of periodic people processes, ensuring that leaders utilize the tools and resources available to foster a positive culture. As an ambassador of the AES employer brand, you will work closely with communications to ensure that our messaging is timely, relevant, and engaging.
