About the position

KPMG is currently seeking a Director, Hub Marketing to join our Marketing organization. This role is pivotal in serving as the strategic advisor and activation lead for local brand programs, events, sponsorships, campaigns, and assets. The Director will create, deliver, and actively manage the Hub marketing plan specifically for the San Francisco hub. This position requires the development and driving of an elevated, broad brand strategy that increases brand visibility, consistency, and perception within the local markets. The Director will leverage content, assets, and training to assist Hub and regional leadership in raising brand visibility and credibility in the digital and social landscape. In addition, the Director will formulate a relationship strategy that fosters collaboration and drives opportunities for relationship development growth. Utilizing firm-wide assets, technology, capabilities, campaigns, content, and channels, the Director will enable sales and drive greater demand within the local markets. This role is essential for ensuring that KPMG's marketing efforts align with the overall business strategy and contribute to the firm's growth objectives. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in marketing within a professional services organization and possess the ability to manage and develop field marketers to promote career growth in a high-performance culture.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the strategic advisor and activation lead for local brand programs, events, sponsorships, campaigns, and assets.
  • Create, deliver, and actively manage Hub marketing plan for the San Francisco hub.
  • Develop and drive elevated, broad brand strategy that increases brand visibility, consistency, and perception within the local markets.
  • Leverage content/assets/training to help Hub/regional leadership raise brand visibility and credibility in the digital/social landscape.
  • Formulate relationship strategy that fosters collaboration and drives opportunities for relationship development growth.
  • Use firm-wide assets, technology, capabilities, campaigns, content, and channels to enable sales and drive greater demand within the local markets.

Requirements

  • Minimum ten years of recent marketing experience, ideally in a highly matrixed professional services organization.
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university in communications, public relations, business, or related field.
  • Experience with existing marketing tools and technology stack such as Salesforce CRM, market and customer intelligence tools, and more.
  • Executive leadership experience to gain buy-in of initiatives, facilitate leadership meetings, and support client-facing Partner and Sales business development efforts.
  • Experience managing, developing and coaching field marketers to promote career growth in a high-performance culture.
  • Analytical skills and business acumen to develop and deliver insights based on market share, revenue results, pipeline growth, whitespace, service/solution penetration, and other key financial growth indicators.
