About the position

The Director of Human Resources at Altvia Solutions LLC will be instrumental in shaping and implementing HR strategies within a dynamic SaaS startup environment. This role encompasses all HR functions, including talent acquisition, employee engagement, performance management, compliance, and the development of a positive company culture. The Director will act as a trusted advisor to the executive team, focusing on fostering an inclusive and results-driven workforce while aligning HR initiatives with business goals.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute HR strategies aligned with the company's goals, particularly in talent acquisition, retention, and performance management.
  • Partner with senior leadership to cultivate a positive and inclusive company culture that supports innovation and collaboration.
  • Lead initiatives related to organizational structure, workforce planning, and succession planning.
  • Oversee the recruitment and onboarding process to ensure the hiring of top talent that fits the company's culture.
  • Collaborate with managers to identify workforce needs and create job descriptions, interview guides, and hiring strategies.
  • Design effective performance management processes and employee development programs to foster a high-performance culture.
  • Lead employee engagement initiatives, including semi-annual employee surveys and an annual 360 performance review process.
  • Oversee the development and implementation of training programs to enhance employee skills and leadership capabilities.
  • Serve as a key resource for employees on HR policies, career development, and company benefits.
  • Act as a bridge between employees and management, facilitating open communication and fostering a cohesive work environment.
  • Champion employee morale and engagement, helping to resolve workplace challenges and celebrate successes.
  • Ensure compliance of HR policies and practices with local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Oversee employee relations, addressing concerns related to workplace behavior, disputes, and terminations.
  • Manage benefit programs, including health, retirement, and wellness initiatives, while overseeing open enrollment and qualifying events.
  • Work with leadership to design competitive compensation structures that align with industry benchmarks.
  • Evaluate and refine employee benefits programs to meet the evolving needs of the company.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; Master's degree or HR certification (e.g., SHRM-SCP, PHR) is a plus.
  • 7+ years of progressive HR experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
  • Previous experience in a tech or SaaS environment is highly desirable.
  • Strong understanding of HR practices, including talent acquisition, employee engagement, compensation, and compliance.
  • Proven ability to build relationships with employees at all levels and foster a positive work environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong organizational and leadership abilities, with the capacity to manage multiple priorities in a growing startup environment.
  • Familiarity with HR technology and systems (HRIS, ATS) and comfort with data-driven decision-making.
