About the position

The I&T Portfolio Manager Director role is a leadership position responsible for partnering with the I&T Business Partner Leader to execute the Book of Work for Behring. This includes managing portfolio investments, business-as-usual activities, I&T support, demand items, and overseeing OKRs and KPIs. The role aims to foster a digital-first mindset and drive the organization towards becoming more data-driven, ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet the defined scope.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver the book of work for Behring portfolios on time, budget and within scope to ensure committed outcomes are achieved.
  • Recruit, hire and train project managers and scrum masters for daily execution of the investments ensuring optimal delivery methodologies within CSL's prescribed frameworks.
  • Partner with Business Partner Leadership Team, Finance Partner team and Portfolio Governance team to provide insight into all financials, costs, purchases, and Business Cases.
  • Collaborate with Enterprise Architects and Domain Architects to ensure architectural standards are considered in RFPs and Business Cases.
  • Provide resource management capacity and demand insights to prioritize organizational efforts based on executive leadership's direction.
  • Drive the organization towards a data-driven mindset, ensuring measurable outcomes and high-quality data for reporting.
  • Build a cohesive, empowered, high-performing team of project managers and scrum masters.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business or equivalent experience.
  • 10+ years of experience in I&T project management, product management or related roles in agile and waterfall environments.
  • Strong track record of building processes and frameworks for team delivery on timelines, scope, and funding.
  • Significant experience in people management, team building, and leadership in matrix organizations.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage financials for projects and organizations, tracking ongoing costs and collaborating with finance partners.
  • Deep experience in data analytics and business intelligence for managing large portfolios of projects.
  • Ability to identify continuous process improvement opportunities and implement them effectively.
  • Experience in risk management and developing mitigation strategies.
  • Expertise in I&T project, program, and portfolio methodologies with progressive responsibilities.
  • Ability to influence across a matrix environment and foster collaboration among teams.
