About the position

The Director of Influencer Marketing at Hourglass Cosmetics will play a pivotal role in enhancing the brand's presence and driving sales through innovative influencer marketing strategies. This position is integral to the brand's growth, focusing on the development and execution of comprehensive influencer marketing campaigns that not only generate demand but also create trends and elevate brand awareness while maintaining a luxury image. The Director will collaborate closely with the Brand, Social, and Growth Marketing teams to ensure that influencer marketing efforts align with overall business objectives and product launches. In this role, the Director will be responsible for identifying and building relationships with key influencers across various platforms, particularly in the beauty, art, and lifestyle sectors. They will oversee the execution of influencer campaigns, ensuring effective communication, content alignment, and successful delivery. The Director will also monitor and analyze campaign performance, utilizing data-driven insights to optimize future strategies and maintain a competitive edge in the industry. Additionally, the Director will negotiate contracts, manage budgets, and ensure timely payments to influencers, while also spearheading the creation of impactful content that drives sales through social media and retail channels. Leading a dedicated team, the Director will focus on meeting all objectives and KPIs related to Influencer Marketing and community growth, ensuring that Hourglass Cosmetics continues to thrive in the competitive beauty market.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute comprehensive influencer marketing strategies to drive sales, maintain a luxury position and build brand awareness.
  • Identify and build relationships with key influencers across multiple platforms, with a focus on beauty, art and lifestyle verticals.
  • Oversee influencer campaign execution, ensuring seamless communication, content alignment, and successful delivery.
  • Collaborate with cross functional teams to align influencer marketing efforts with overall business objectives and product launches.
  • Monitor and analyze the performance of influencer campaigns, using data-driven insights to optimize future strategies.
  • Stay current with industry trends, emerging platforms, and influencer best practices to maintain a competitive edge.
  • Negotiate contracts, manage budgets, and ensure timely payments to influencers.
  • Build and maintain a network of influencers who are a strong fit for our brand.
  • Spearhead the creation of content that generates sales, ensuring a strong impact on social media and retail sales.
  • Lead a team focused on meeting all objectives and KPIs as they pertain to Influencer Marketing and community growth.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in influencer marketing, with a proven track record of leading successful campaigns.
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms, particularly Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and emerging channels.
  • Experience in the beauty, retail, luxury industries is highly preferred.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and derive actionable insights.
  • Experience managing a team.
