About the position

The Director, Infrastructure Architect at Keurig Dr Pepper (KDP) plays a crucial role in aligning the company's technical infrastructure with its business goals. This position involves setting the technical direction for KDP's hosting/cloud environments, network, compute servers, storage, and databases. The Director will develop infrastructure capability reference architectures and technology roadmaps, ensuring that the infrastructure supports the overall technology architecture and business strategy.

Responsibilities

  • Define strategies, principles, and standards for managing and guiding infrastructure architecture efforts across the organization.
  • Analyze company business context and change requirements to recommend future state infrastructure/technical architecture.
  • Facilitate technical and business discussions related to infrastructure architecture.
  • Provide guidance and governance regarding infrastructure/technical architecture to agile delivery teams and stakeholders.
  • Analyze the current technology environment to identify deficiencies and recommend improvements.
  • Define architectural patterns and reusable artifacts for technology solutions.
  • Lead the evaluation and selection of infrastructure/technical technologies and design standard configurations.

Requirements

  • Deep knowledge and demonstrated experience of IT Infrastructure Components including cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, & Google Cloud.
  • Expertise in servers, storage systems, network, and virtualization technologies.
  • Deep knowledge of operating systems like Linux, Windows Servers, Unix, and cloud service offerings including IaaS and PaaS.
  • Understanding of Networking including LAN/WAN, SD-WAN, TCP/IP, firewalls, load balancers, and VPN technologies.
  • Familiarity with relational and non-relational databases such as SQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and Cassandra.
  • Experience implementing best in class security practices and understanding of fault-tolerant and resilient infrastructure design.
  • Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment and lead cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to analyze and translate future-state business capabilities into information architecture requirements.
