As such, intimate knowledge of clientrelationships in capital markets is an absolute must-have, andfamiliarity with deal execution with institutional clients is amajor plus, particularly with longer duration transactions such asthe private placements space in which we operate. We're looking fora creative, self-starting institutional sales professional with aclient-first mindset combined with a passion for giving thoseclients access to the most innovative startups in the world. Ifyou're aligned with our core values of being bold, accountable, andhumble, and put your clients above self in every interaction, wewould love to hear from you!Role Location:San Francisco, CA - Thiswill be a hybrid role where you'll be onsite in our SF, CA office1-3 days a week.Responsibilities: Monetize existing client relationships and own your outcomes bybringing relationships from deal match to confirmation andclose. Develop new relationships with hedge funds, asset managers,wealth management platforms, angel investors, and other buy-sideclients. Build ongoing relationships with sellers, includingindividuals, venture capital/private equity firms, and theirlimited partners by regularly engaging and meeting with yourclients. Expand Forge's access to relevant networks, such as SiliconValley communities, HNW individuals, angel groups, and familyoffices. Manage, automate, and scale inbound and outbound clientengagement inquiries in collaboration with the growth engineeringteams. Demonstrate expertise, provide market insights, and oversee thetransaction process to align demand and supply, working withoperations, legal, and stakeholders for successful outcomes. Must be able to sit and/or stand for long periods of time in anoffice or home office setting while working.Qualifications: Ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience in a salesrole in financial services with a focus in institutional salesand/or private placements. FINRA Series 7 & 63 licenses. Relentless commitment to client service above all else withmeticulous attention to client engagement and deal process. Bachelor's degree in an area such as finance, economics, orbusiness. Must be comfortable working both independently and in a teamenvironment.Preferred Qualifications: Secondary transaction experience preferred. Experience in venture capital and private equity.For residentsof San Francisco, CA/Bay Area, the annual salary (includingquarterly commissions) for this role ranges from $125,000 -$300,000 depending on individual performance. Final offers may varyfrom the amount listed based on candidate performance, experience,expertise, and other factors.Forge implements a mandatory COVID-19Vaccination Policy, which applies to all employees.
