About the position

The Director of Human Resources is a strategic leadership role responsible for overseeing all aspects of human resources management within the organization. This position plays a crucial role in shaping the company culture, ensuring compliance with employment labor laws, and implementing effective HR programs that align with business objectives. The Director will lead initiatives in talent acquisition, employee development, succession planning, and organizational design while fostering a positive work environment.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy.
  • Oversee recruitment efforts to attract top talent while ensuring compliance with employment labor laws.
  • Manage employee relations, addressing any issues or concerns to maintain a positive workplace culture.
  • Lead organizational design efforts to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Implement succession planning processes to ensure leadership continuity within the organization.
  • Utilize data analysis skills to assess HR metrics and inform decision-making.
  • Manage HR programs including performance management, training and development, and employee engagement initiatives.
  • Ensure effective use of HR technology systems such as Kronos and Oracle for workforce management and data reporting.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to develop policies that support organizational goals.

Requirements

  • In-depth knowledge of employment labor law and HR best practices.
  • Strong program management skills with the ability to oversee multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Experience in contract negotiation and management related to HR functions.
  • Proficiency in organization design principles to optimize team structures.
  • Familiarity with Kronos and Oracle systems for HR information management.
  • Excellent data analysis skills for interpreting HR metrics and trends.
  • Proven experience in human resources management across various functions.
  • Strong succession planning capabilities to identify and develop future leaders within the organization.
