About the position

As the IT Director, Business Relationship Management (BRM) for our Marketing, Sales and eCommerce functions you will play a critical role in driving our Nestlé USA digital transformation. You will lead and partner with Nestlé USA (NUSA) business partners in the Marketing, Sales & eCommerce functions and Divisions to foster strong relationships, develop a joint digital strategy and roadmap and shape and own the delivery of the business value in line with the strategy. You will interface with the regional and global IT teams and champion the IT strategy in alignment with NUSA business strategy, to ensure that the IT roadmap and associated product/project portfolio maximizes investment and value realization. You will play an active role in leading and coaching Project and Product Teams (Program Managers, IT leaders, business analysts, strategic partners, etc.) through the delivery and transformation to deliver and integrate with business value as the guiding light. Provide leadership, mentorship, and guidance to direct reports, while fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment. Encourage professional growth and development through regular feedback, training, and career development opportunities.

Responsibilities

  • Builds and fosters strong relationships and becomes a trusted partner for the business; develops deep understanding of the overall business; communicates and collaborates regularly with Business
  • Drives market's digital roadmap and strategy; works to leverage the benefits of the IT strategies (product strategies and IT operating model) in order to deliver value at the local level.
  • Partners with Business to shape demand of IT portfolio and prioritization of efforts based on business need.
  • Accountable for technology initiatives delivered to market (from conception through delivery and post launch); represents business, facilitates requirements, and assembles team for delivery.
  • Collaborates with Regional and Global IT leaders and Product groups to ensure understanding of the business strategy, goals, and context to properly incorporate those into the product roadmaps.
  • Drives ideation and innovation to help determine how emerging technology can help the business.
  • Ensures IT project portfolio maximizes investment and value realization; accountable for market's IT budget.
  • Supports building Digital Fluency program within business function.
  • Communicates and leads a clear mission, vision, and guiding principles for their team to align with the IT and business strategies.
  • Oversees the recruitment, development, and retention of a high-performing team of direct reports.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Information Technology, Business Administration, Project Management, or related field
  • 10+ years of combined experience in Information Technology and Business
  • 5+ years of experience with leading IT products/solutions within the Marketing, Sales, and/or eCommerce/Digital domain
  • 3+ years of experience in leading digital and business transformation in the Marketing, Sales, and/or eCommerce/Digital domain
  • 2+ years of experience in innovation and experimentation of emerging technologies
