About the position

The Director of IT Operations at Rue Gilt Groupe is responsible for leading and innovating the network operations and technology support services across multiple locations. This role involves managing teams that ensure a secure and efficient network, providing a positive digital experience for over 600 associates, and driving innovation in technology functions. The position requires a strategic leader who can foster collaboration, accountability, and professional growth within the IT teams while addressing technology challenges and optimizing operations.

Responsibilities

• Manage, mentor, and coach the Technical Support Services (TSS) team, Network Operations team, and Project Management Team.
• Build strategy, establish OKR goals, and maintain team metrics for career growth.
• Lead cross-functional teams to solve technology business challenges and enhance workflows.
• Utilize troubleshooting skills to evaluate and solve existing and anticipated technology issues.
• Serve as the primary contact for hardware and software vendors, managing renewals and negotiations.
• Manage the technical operations budget, tracking expenditures and identifying cost optimization opportunities.

Requirements

• Prior experience in an IT leadership role.
• Demonstrated ability to lead, mentor, and develop IT teams.
• Strong knowledge of end user computing and networking infrastructure.
• Experience with MS365 and Active Directory.
• Mac and PC support experience.
• Proven experience in standardizing processes and fostering team cohesiveness.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to think strategically and align technology with business goals.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
