About the position

The Director of IT - Product Manager at Imagine Group is responsible for driving flagship applications and enhancing the customer experience of B2B applications and the Production Workflow Platform. This role involves collaborating with leadership to develop product strategies, manage the product roadmap, and ensure customer value through technology systems. The position requires close coordination with IT, Sales/Marketing, and Operations teams to align business goals with product features and enhancements.

Responsibilities

  • Create and maintain a product backlog according to business values and objectives.
  • Plan and prioritize product feature backlogs and assist with product vision and roadmap.
  • Document product requirements, user stories, and defects with detailed acceptance criteria.
  • Ensure the product team has adequate tasks groomed for development.
  • Assess value, develop use cases, and prioritize features aligned with product strategy.
  • Lead product release planning, coordination, and training.
  • Assist senior leadership with market research and competitive analysis.
  • Verify completion of new features and their readiness for release.
  • Coordinate beta test efforts and gather feedback.
  • Utilize customer feedback channels to drive product enhancements.
  • Collaborate with technical sales, support, and engineers to manage customer escalations.
  • Conduct surveys and focus groups to identify desired product features.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
  • 10+ years of IT, Software Development, and Product Manager experience.
  • Previous experience with Cloud/SaaS-based software products.
  • SaaS product delivery end-to-end experience.
  • Strong written and spoken communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to coordinate software projects across multiple engineering teams.
  • Experience managing eCommerce Systems.
  • Experience managing Print Production Workflow Systems.
  • Experience working with On-Shore and Off-Shore development teams.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with Warehouse Management Systems.
  • Preferred certification in product management coursework or degree.
  • Preferred master's degree in business administration.
  • Certification in product management and/or project management coursework.
  • Evidence of strong leadership skills and creativity.
  • Strong communications and interpersonal skills.
  • Great analytics and problem-solving skills.
  • Good organization and multitasking abilities.
