About the position

Maximus is seeking a Director, Knowledge Capture Manager to lead knowledge management solutions and strategies for health agencies. This leadership role involves strategic guidance to executives, developing business relationships, and ensuring successful capture and solution architecture across multiple lines of business. The position requires extensive experience in health agencies and knowledge management, with a focus on driving business acquisition pathways and maintaining a competitive edge in the market.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for capture, pursuit, and solutioning architecture for multiple lines of business.
  • Provide strategic guidance to executives including solution shaping and strategy responses.
  • Develop strong business relationships with internal stakeholders.
  • Provide guidance to executives for decision making.
  • Work to maintain a win/loss ratio.
  • Develop strategies to capture organizational knowledge management strategies in collaboration with business development and operations leads.
  • Lead and drive planning and capture activities related to solution development, ideally, 6+ months prior to RFP release.
  • Support short-term knowledge captures where opportunities align with market goals.
  • Provide insights, data, and industry experience to business development for shaping opportunities.
  • Design and deploy the value proposition and mitigations for sales themes of the bid.
  • Participate in the pricing strategy discussion and contribute to a data-driven pricing strategy.
  • Research competitor strengths/weaknesses and provide recommendations to mitigate vulnerabilities.
  • Develop a small-business and partnership strategy and coordinate teaming agreements.
  • Coordinate inputs and work closely with proposal developers to ensure a compliant proposal.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in related field.
  • 10 years relevant professional experience.
  • Experience with Project Management, systems or business analysis, technical solution architecture, operations/knowledge management/capture management.
  • Experience with management of matrixed small and large teams.
  • Former project management in health information technology experience is required.
  • Strong leadership and management skills.
  • Superior organizational and time-management skills.
  • Articulate written and verbal communication capabilities.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to apply to pricing models.
  • Strong negotiating skills.
  • Computer proficient.
