We are currently seeking a Director of Leadership Communications and Operations for GM Global Markets, a role that is pivotal in shaping communications strategies across our global markets. In this position, the Director will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive leadership, corporate, and internal communications strategy for the President of GM Global Markets. This strategy will align with GM's overarching goals and objectives, focusing on internal engagement, social media, and media outreach in global markets. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of the internal and external communications landscape, enabling them to drive change management and execute 360-degree communications campaigns effectively. The Director will act as a trusted advisor to senior executives, providing strategic counsel to elevate their brands and ensure maximum impact for the business. This role requires building and maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders, drafting various communications assets such as narratives, speeches, and social media posts, and contributing to high-quality content production for internal and external channels. Additionally, the Director will support the Communication Strategy & Operations by developing and maintaining new programs and tools that enhance the global markets communications teams' effectiveness. The role also involves sharing best practices and tracking team performance across global markets.
