In this context, we are looking for a Director of Leadership Communications and Operations for GM Global Markets. This role is pivotal in supporting the execution of communications strategies across GM's global markets, which span over 60 countries. The ideal candidate will possess a profound understanding of both internal and external communications landscapes, enabling them to effectively manage change and execute comprehensive communications campaigns. This position requires a strong stakeholder manager who can provide strategic counsel to senior leaders, enhancing their personal brands while ensuring that communications deliver maximum impact for the business. Additionally, the Director will oversee the operations and collaboration across global markets teams, ensuring that processes and tools are effectively launched and maintained. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and executing a leadership, corporate, and internal communications strategy that aligns with GM's overarching goals. This includes focusing on internal engagement, social media, and media outreach in global markets. You will partner closely with communications leaders to craft messages that resonate with target audiences and ensure that organizational initiatives are communicated effectively to employees and stakeholders. As a trusted advisor, you will draft various communications assets for executive use and contribute to high-quality content production for both internal and external channels. Your role will also involve supporting the Communication Strategy & Operations, driving the sharing of best practices, and tracking team performance across global markets.
