In the context of a competitive landscape, GM operates in over 60 global markets, and we are currently seeking a Director of Leadership Communications and Operations for GM Global Markets. This role is pivotal in supporting the execution of communications strategies that span the entirety of GM's global operations. The ideal candidate will possess a profound understanding of both internal and external communications landscapes, enabling them to effectively drive change management initiatives and comprehensive communications campaigns. This position requires a strong stakeholder manager who can provide strategic counsel to senior leaders, enhancing their personal brands while ensuring that communications deliver maximum impact for the business. Additionally, the Director will oversee the communications strategy and operations across global markets, ensuring that processes and tools are implemented effectively and maintained efficiently. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive leadership, corporate, and internal communications strategy for the President of GM Global Markets. This strategy will align with GM's overarching goals and objectives, focusing on internal engagement, social media, and media outreach in global markets. You will partner closely with communications leaders and executives to craft impactful messages that resonate with target audiences, ensuring that organizational initiatives are communicated effectively to employees and stakeholders. As a trusted advisor, you will build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, drafting various communications assets for executive use, and contributing to high-quality content production for both internal and external channels. Furthermore, you will support the Communication Strategy & Operations by developing and launching new programs and tools that enhance the capabilities of the global markets communications teams, while also driving the sharing of best practices across the organization.
