This role is pivotal in supporting the execution of communications strategies across GM's global markets. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of both internal and external communications landscapes, enabling them to effectively drive change management and comprehensive communications campaigns. In this position, the Director will serve as a strategic advisor to senior leaders, helping to elevate their personal brands while ensuring that communications efforts yield maximum impact for the business. The role also involves overseeing the operations and collaboration across global markets teams, ensuring that processes and tools are effectively launched and maintained. The Director will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive communications strategy for the President of GM Global Markets, focusing on internal engagement, social media, and media outreach. This includes crafting impactful messages, ensuring successful communication of organizational initiatives, and building strong relationships with stakeholders. Additionally, the role requires the production of high-quality content for various communications channels and the sharing of best practices across global teams.
