About the position

The Director of Lifecycle Marketing will play a pivotal role in shaping the strategy and execution across Stand Together's brand ecosystem and engagement lifecycle. This position is focused on building world-class capabilities to create personalized and impactful journeys that engage, nurture, and grow relationships with donors, partners, and community advocates. The successful candidate will work cross-functionally to develop a deep understanding of user experiences and leverage data-driven insights to optimize communication strategies, ensuring that every touchpoint reflects the principles of Stand Together. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and executing the full lifecycle marketing strategy, which encompasses acquisition, retention, reactivation, and advocacy for Stand Together's brands, grassroots organizations, and major gift acquisition. You will lead a team dedicated to creating personalized journeys that drive deeper engagement with our audiences. Utilizing customer communication tools such as Iterable or Braze, you will develop, test, and optimize multi-channel campaigns, including email, SMS, and In-App Push notifications. Collaboration with the data and analytics team will be essential to build segmentation strategies, generate insights from campaign performance, and continuously improve lifecycle engagement efforts. Additionally, you will work closely with cross-functional teams, including Marketing Communications, Business Units, and Development teams, to align messaging and ensure consistency across all marketing touchpoints. Establishing KPIs and reporting mechanisms to measure the effectiveness of lifecycle marketing efforts will be a key responsibility, as will communicating results to senior leadership. Staying current on industry trends, tools, and best practices will be crucial to evolving lifecycle marketing efforts continuously.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • At least 7 years of experience in lifecycle marketing, CRM, or customer journey management.
  • Strong knowledge of marketing automation platforms and CRM systems.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to use data to optimize marketing strategies and campaigns.
  • Excellent project management skills with the ability to handle multiple initiatives simultaneously.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills, with experience leading cross-functional teams.
