The Director of Local Content Marketing and Social Strategy is a pivotal role within Audacy, responsible for leading the development and execution of content marketing and social media strategies for key station brands and talent. This position requires a strategic thinker who can effectively collaborate with various stakeholders across the organization to bring innovative ideas to life. The Director will work closely with station leadership, programming teams, and talent to ensure that the brand voice and unique value propositions are effectively communicated across all platforms. The role demands a deep understanding of social media trends and consumer behaviors, enabling the Director to drive engagement and brand awareness through creative content marketing initiatives. In this role, the Director will develop a comprehensive understanding of the Music, Sports, and News stations, their programming, and the competitive landscape in local markets. They will provide hands-on support to station teams, ideating and implementing social marketing strategies that encourage listener engagement across various digital touchpoints, including the Audacy app. The Director will also partner with sales teams to create influencer-driven revenue partnerships and serve as the central point of contact for content marketing and social strategy collaboration. The Director will be expected to exhibit thought leadership in the social and digital landscape, presenting best practices to station leadership and influencing business decisions. They will establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of initiatives and utilize data to optimize strategies for maximum engagement and return on investment. This role is essential for ensuring that Audacy's social initiatives are strategically integrated and visible across all relevant channels, ultimately enhancing the overall brand presence and listener engagement.
