The Director of Local Content Marketing and Social Strategy at Audacy, Inc. is a pivotal role responsible for leading the development of innovative content marketing and social media strategies for key Audacy station brands and talent. This position requires a strategic thinker with exceptional leadership and communication skills, capable of collaborating effectively with remote teams. The Director will work closely with various stakeholders to bring content marketing initiatives to life, ensuring alignment with the unique brand voice and competitive positioning of each station in the local market. In this role, the Director will develop a deep understanding of key Music, Sports, and News stations, providing strategic and hands-on partnership to station and show teams. This includes ideating and developing effective social marketing strategies that drive listener engagement across multiple platforms, including the Audacy app and other digital touchpoints. The Director will also be responsible for building omni-channel content marketing and distribution strategies in collaboration with programming, digital, and key station leadership. Regular meetings with station leadership and social leads will be essential to discuss content priorities and opportunities related to social trends, exclusive interviews, and breaking news. The Director will serve as the central point of contact for content marketing and social strategy collaboration, providing education on best practices and ensuring that station social initiatives are visible and strategically integrated across relevant channels. Additionally, the role involves establishing key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of content marketing and social initiatives, using data to adjust strategies and maximize engagement and ROI. The Director will also deliver actionable monthly reporting to leadership and key station stakeholders, showcasing areas for growth and optimization.
