About the position

The Director of Logistics at Quanta Standard Inc. is responsible for overseeing and managing the company's logistics operations, focusing on building strong relationships with both private and public sector customers. This role involves enhancing the company's visibility and reputation, leading multidisciplinary teams, and driving innovation and continuous improvement in logistics processes. The position requires collaboration with executive leadership and government agencies to ensure high-quality service delivery and compliance with regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and cultivate relationships with key stakeholders in both the private and public sectors.
  • Enhance the company's visibility and reputation through effective relationship management.
  • Lead and promote strategic collaboration with internal stakeholders to ensure timely and quality delivery of products and services.
  • Oversee projects from inception to completion, ensuring quality standards and on-time delivery.
  • Drive innovation and continuous improvement in logistics processes.
  • Implement new technologies and methodologies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Engage with customers to understand their needs and ensure solutions meet expectations.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and support.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and company policies in logistics activities.
  • Identify and mitigate risks associated with logistics operations.
  • Monitor and evaluate logistics performance using data and analytics to drive improvements.
  • Lead and motivate subordinates to advance employee engagement and develop a high-performing managerial team.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive work environment by promoting the company's core values.
  • Use a principled approach to decision-making, ensuring ethical and data-driven actions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, International Relations, or a related field.
  • Master's degree or post-graduate studies relevant to this role are a must.
  • Minimum of 12 years in similar public administration - senior leadership roles.
  • Experience working with government contractors or in the security field is a must.
  • Experience in start-ups will be valued.
  • Excellent leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  • Strong analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Innovative and entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to find and retain talented employees.
  • Relevant training and certifications (such as CISSP, CISM, CPP).
