About the position

The Director of Machine Learning Platform will lead a team of AI/ML/MLOps Engineers to innovate and implement cutting-edge solutions in the financial services sector. This role involves defining the strategic vision for AI/ML frameworks and GPU-powered platforms, while also being hands-on with technical execution. Responsibilities

• Lead a team of skilled AI/ML/MLOps Engineers to deliver innovative solutions in the financial services sector.
• Drive the strategic vision for the firm's AI/ML frameworks and GPU-powered platforms.
• Define the strategic direction for AI/ML frameworks and GPU-powered platforms.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to implement best-in-class tools and technologies.
• Implement MLOps best practices to create seamless, efficient deployment pipelines.
• Build and maintain containerized runtime environments for AI/ML workloads.

Requirements

• Expert-level proficiency in Python programming and machine learning frameworks like TensorFlow and PyTorch.
• In-depth experience with GPUs and related technologies, including CUDA.
• Hands-on experience with containerization, cloud platforms, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Direct people management experience of modest-sized teams.
• Ability to gain buy-in from stakeholders across the business.
• Fluent in machine learning operations, runtime, orchestration and workflow optimization.
• Fluent in maintaining containerized runtime environments.
• Experience building CI/CD pipelines.
• Demonstrated ability to balance strategic leadership with hands-on technical execution.
• BS or MS degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or similar.
