About the position
The Director of Management Contract Services at Hilton plays a crucial role in the Development team, focusing on driving the company's growth strategy by managing relationships with hotel owners and investors. This position involves overseeing the transition process for managed hotel sales, renewing management agreements, and resolving owner-related issues, all while ensuring compliance with legal agreements and enhancing the overall owner experience.
Responsibilities
- Negotiate the renewal of management agreements and relicensing, securing internal approvals in the global deal approval process.
- Draft management agreements for new development deals and oversee their distribution to relevant parties.
- Provide support to resolve owner-related issues, reviewing management contracts with legal assistance to settle disputes.
- Manage the entire hotel transition process for all managed hotels, ensuring seamless transitions and compliance with legal agreements.
- Facilitate owner relationship development through strategic meetings, orientations, and webinars.
Requirements
- Five (5) years of work experience within the hotel industry.
- Knowledge of hotel operations, market demand fundamentals, hotel capital expenditures, and hotel financial processes and analysis.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience in hotel operations, Sales & Marketing, particularly in the full service/upscale segment of the hotel industry.
- Five (5) years or more of leadership experience with demonstrated managerial and relationship-building skills.
