About the position

The Director of Management Contract Services at Hilton plays a crucial role in the Development team, focusing on expanding Hilton's managed and franchised hotel portfolio. This position involves partnering with hotel owners and investors, managing the transition process for hotel sales, renewing management agreements, and addressing owner-related issues. The role requires strong negotiation skills and the ability to collaborate with various departments to ensure successful hotel transitions and maintain strong owner relationships.

Responsibilities

• Negotiate the renewal of management agreements and relicensing, securing internal approvals in the global deal approval process.
• Draft management agreements for new development deals and oversee their distribution to relevant parties.
• Provide support to resolve owner-related issues and address concerns by communicating with operations teams.
• Manage the hotel transition process for all managed hotels, ensuring compliance with legal agreements and effective communication with all parties involved.
• Facilitate owner relationship development through strategic meetings, orientations, and webinars, including conducting owner orientation meetings and preparing updated presentations.
• Analyze new agreement terms, negotiated franchise deals, forecasts, budgets, and hotel trends to provide recommendations for risk mitigation.

Requirements

• Five (5) years of work experience within the hotel industry.
• Knowledge of hotel operations, market demand fundamentals, hotel capital expenditures, and hotel financial processes and analysis.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in hotel operations, Sales & Marketing, particularly in the full-service/upscale segment of the hotel industry.
• Five (5) years or more of leadership experience with demonstrated managerial and relationship-building skills.
